Graduate Students

​We have multiple positions open for graduate students (PhD and MS) in our lab. Interested students should apply through the Department of Biological Sciences graduate program. If you would like to learn more about our research or explore the possibility of doing your PhD rotation/graduate work in our lab please email Dr. Padmanabhan. 

Research Technician/Lab Manager

​We currently have an opening for a Research Technician/ Lab Manager. Ideal candidate will have at least a bachelors (masters preferred) in biology, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology or a similar field. Prior experience working in a research laboratory is a plus.  For consideration please email your CV and a cover letter to Dr. Padmanabhan. 

Undergraduate Researchers

​We are always looking for talented undergraduate researchers to join our group. To make the research experience rewarding we require you to commit for at least a year. Undergraduate students who are looking for research opportunities please email a cover letter along with your CV to Dr. Padmanabhan.  In your cover letter please describe the biology/chemistry course work you have taken at UMBC, details of any prior research experience, your career goals, how much time you have for laboratory research per week, and explain why you would like to join our lab.
